After playing a series of U.S. acoustic shows in the East and Midwest in October, Peter Frampton has now scheduled a new unplugged trek that will visit the West Coast in March. The forthcoming installment of what’s been dubbed “Peter Frampton Raw, an Acoustic Tour” kicks off March 9 in Tucson, Arizona, and is plotted out through a March 26 concert in Tacoma, Washington.
As with the October outing, the upcoming shows will feature Frampton accompanied by his longtime musical collaborator Gordon Kennedy, as well as by his son, singer/guitarist Julian Frampton, who will be a special guest at the gigs. Tickets for all of the new “Raw” dates are on sale now.
Last June, Frampton told Billboard his acoustic tour was being held in conjunction with an unplugged album he’s recording that will feature stripped-down renditions of various songs from his back catalog.
Prior to the acoustic trek, Peter will be one of many veteran acts taking part in the Rock Legends Cruise IV, which runs from January 21 to January 25.
